SINOPSIS
La purga es una noche sin ley, en la que todo tipo de crímenes están permitidos. Y es que, el gobierno ha decidido que una noche al año, durante doce horas, cualquier actividad criminal, incluso el asesinato, será legal. El crimen hace estragos en Estados Unidos y las cárceles están llenas. No se puede llamar a la policía, los hospitales no admiten pacientes, los ciudadanos deben arreglárselas solos porque cometer un delito no está castigado.
Esta película de terror y ciencia ficción es la quinta y última entrega de la exitosa saga creada por James DeMonaco que produce el estudio Blumhouse.
